Purpose and Mission of SAFE-T:

National statistics indicate that as many as 1 of every 4 women will be sexually abused before she reaches the age of 18.

1 of every 6 men will be sexually abused before the age of 18

In addition:  

  • 1 of every 5 children will be physically abused.
  • 1 of every 2 marriages will end in divorce
  • 1 of every 7 marriages will experience domestic violence
       (State of Florida Statistics, 2000.)

Hurting people, in recovery from negative life experiences, comprise the population of individuals that SAFE-T reaches.

SAFE-T believes that education is the means of eliminating the ignorance that perpetuates the cycle of abuse.

Donations are used for scholarships for the many classes offered by SAFE-T.
